February 13th – 15th 2010 brought together the talents of Nottinghamshire. Lots of people did something different over the Big learning Weekend. We had 219 events and used over 70 new venues across Nottinghamshire. We went into shopping centres, used empty shops, went into Health Centres, and opened more libraries for learning than even before. Sure Start joined in and many arts organizations, shops and leisure centres put on activities. We can keep doing this! Over 3000 people filled in Prize Draw forms (see winners under latest news) and almost 6000 people were involved.

100 different venues, more than 5,000 people across Nottinghamshire, dedicated to one big weekend, entirely devoted to learning something new!

We will bring together the talent of Nottinghamshire to inspire the whole county to try a unique learning experience, best of all, it won’t cost you a penny! We want to get everyone involved in learning something different.

The Big Learning Weekend is all about fun, casual, bite-sized learning; the opportunities are endless!
